![Light on the Valley Floor : In early 2007, not long after I joined Flickr, I crossed paths with a beautiful and gifted soul, who is not only a talented photographer, but is also a very gifted wordsmith. He lives (or at least did at the time), in Snohomish County, just outside of Seattle. While I've never been fortunate enough to go there, I've seen through his magical images how beautiful this part of the world is. I asked if I could have a play around with a few of his photos, and he was kind enough to allow it. At the time, he very generously gave me permission to sell my altered versions, and I in term gave him my blessing to do whatever he wished with the files that I sent him. In October of that same year, he disappeared from Flickr, and I haven't heard from him since. So I put these images aside and never planned to do anything with them. It just didn't seem like the right thing to do. But lately I've had a rethink and I've decided that perhaps they really are meant to be put to use. So while I wouldn't ever feel right about personally profiting from them, I've decided that I am going to make them available for sale after all - as part of my soon-to-be-up-and-running 'Charitable Art' collection. 100% of the proceeds from everything sold in these particular galleries will go to worthy causes. I really hope you don't mind, Greg. Wherever you are and whatever you are doing now, I sincerely hope that you have found true happiness, buddy. I miss you still.

![The House that Nick Built : Empty at the moment, but when I am ready, I will be moving some of the 'Hilltop' series of images into this gallery and committing them to charitable causes as well.
